When I go driving I bring my camera... I missed the golden hour but decided to get a few shots anyways
After I was finished I realized most of my shots were from the same angle :(

I did much less PP than on the last shoot.

I realize I'm no good at making sure borders are all the same size heh :o

B&W appeals to me most. Too bad about the bug massacre on the car's nose:lol: Sun on the last pic looks great.

The last one is pretty nice! If you must open the lights, why not try some with them on? ;)

Thanks!
Haha yes.. I haven't washed the car yet. Those might require a bit more than just a wash...

I just wanted natural lighting... do you have any suggestions on how to shoot a car with its lights on?
The car has the coolest button Mazda could put on it... a button to pop the headlights up and down... and a separate switch to turn the lights on(which also flips them up and down).

do you have any suggestions on how to shoot a car with its lights on? One way is to turn them on/off for part of a longer exposure. They were on for the full exposure in these, though: 2007 Chevy HHR (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=227752)

Another way is to blend different exposures: Layer Masks will do a great job for local corrections. Here's one illustration. Airport runway shoot (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=117950)

Lotsa' other methods. Have fun with it!

Thanks for the info! I like the HHR shots I looked at that thread when i first hopped on here, I wish I could get that much detail from headlights when they are on.
