I have similar feelings abouts this shot as Chops noted about his "Cruisin Jag"

Technically it is obviously wrong but it has a dream like, almost ghostly, feel to it.......and a bit of sensor muck down in the bottom right hand corner.

its interesting but would have been better if the front were focused and the rear were not focused.

I don't know that any of it is focused, or not focused as such. The differential in car speed and panning speed has blurred it all. Strangely the front of the drivers face seems sharper than the rest which IMHO adds to the surreal quality of the image. I see it more as an image of a thought rather than a specific car image and, while I didn't plan the shot (at all) I still like the way it came out.

I kinda like it. The thing about long blurs like that is that you can take 1,000 & get 999 variations of the shot. Which is why they're fun to do! But not fun to try to reproduce when someone asks, "Can you do the same thing with my product"? :D
