Apples and Avocadoes :) Great colors on this one. I almost got a lust for fruit now.. And that's not often =D

You should photograph perfect fruit or at least make it look perfect in PS... the left apple has a brown mark that draws unwanted attention... pretty much the same applies to the avocado right to that apple...

I don't know, but I would not catagorically strive remove all blemishes from fruit. I think they can add interest to a photo.
I don't think the photo benefits from the blemish, but still, the photo is a good one. (I'm not keen on the grout line though, there are no others to balance it out.)

Nice color and sharpness and composition...I think it can be more atractively with some light and shadows.

Perhaps I am wrong, but are the apples wet and the avocados dry?

I like the shot generally, but find the white background, particularly on the top left side rather distracting. My eye goes to the background rather than the fruit. Perhaps a background which isn't quite as light would help too.

Yes, the apples are wet and avocados are dry.

A is for
A still life? or A bunch of fruit?
Seriously though I am not convinced about the composition. It seems a bit tight on all 4 sides. There isn't one whole fruit shown, but on the other hand they are still easily recognisable so that it is not very abstract either.
There is nothing really wrong with the shot, it is certainly technically fine, well exposed, good colours etc. But for me its just that, it doesn't really make me want to eat the fruit. Nor do I wonder for a while what it is. There is no particular commonality of tone or form to the elements.
Still life is always very difficult to compose, especially for something like fruit that has been done so many times already. This why I don't do much still life I think, shortage of original ideas or compositional skill. But I am impressed with those who can do it. I would practice some more and try moving the elements around and see what please you. Maybe even add or remove some elements or change something. You could perhaps cut one apple and one avocado in half and show then next to some whole ones. Maybe even leave the knife in shot? -- See those are the best ideas I can come up with -- told you I can't do still life  , maybe I should practice and learn as well. If I get round to it I will post something here.
