I am not sure this is the right forum, if not please redirect me.

I would like to enhance my ability in portraits.

I am not a pro (meaning my money goes towards my equipment and no money flows in the opposite direction :D) and I do not have a studio.

I practiced a lot with my family members but I would like to undergo the challenge of meeting someone I do not know beforehand and manage the process of "discovering" the right expression and handling the initial uneasiness of not knowing each other.

I am totally lost on the best approach to find "models" willing to get portraited. In my country I am under the impression that behind most "models" ads in newspapers, are really "seedy" offers

It would also be ideal for me to be able to find people willing to be potraited in exchange of the portrait in itself rather than money.

As a last information because of my full time work I have very little free time and cannot hang out in places hoping to casually meet a subject.

Does anyone of you have any suggestions for me ?

Thank you in advance.

Robert

Well, based on your avatar, I don't think you should have a hard time luring people to do different things for you... ;)
