Hi all,

I heard rumor that Canon will have 10D Mark II release soon so now Canon has big sales on 300D (buy one with Lexar 512M CF free). Anyone heard about that?

Canon doesn't announce what they're going to announce just before announcing it. No follow-on to the 10D has been announced. Rumors have been announced for a very long time.

Ultimately, the best way to guess is to look at the release history, notice that the "prosumer" cameras tend to be upgraded about every 1.5 years, and then see how long a particular prosumer camera has been out.

A new 10D was rumoured last October, then November,....... then April, and now May. The rumour will persist until Canon announce something. If it keeps you awake at nights, try a stiff drink before you go to bed.

I also heard there was going to be a Canon 1D replacement called the Mark 2 or something similar. I reckon that is also just a rumour and won't actually come to anything. ;)

Get the Canon EOS D80 (http://www.fotovideoplus.ch/CANON/EOS_D80.html)! For some strange reason, only that one shop in Switzerland sells it. Really! :lol: :roll:

If that's the real deal I'd get one. It looks pretty cool, I like the verticle grip built in great idea.

I hear they are the only outlet allowed to show the photochopped picture of a 1D and pretend it is an 80D. It is that Alpine air you know, goes to their heads. :lol: :lol:
