Thank you, one and all... another example of not getting the photo you went for... I was looking for bugs and found a javelin-throwing plant.

As for you, Bruce, I've been so long out of America that I don't speak the lingo anymore. "Sus"... what's that? Suspect, suspicious?

And how is anyone reading a story that I deleted about 10 minutes after posting?

Mysteries abound.

Thanks very much for your comments. Glad you enjoyed Mr. Pumpkin.

Don.
magic that's how

what story ?

the picture itself told a story
and it must have been so good and right on the mark to your story  if you are wondering how Bruce (or whoever ) was able to know what you deleted
and we are discussing it when we never even saw it.

maybe Bruce did see it earlier . I was in bed asleep when you posted the post (Bruce goes about eight hours later   )
you say you deleted it 10 minutes after posting .
sorry to go on and on (and on) but what are we (me) talking about :?

:?

Don, Sus is a word A couple friends from England seem to use a lot, and I think the context they use it in seems like it means "Suspect". I thought you'd relate since you live in England? :D
Timing is everything, I must have seen the story just after you posted?

Don is asleep right now. and I guess you are not too long up but I don't know if you are joking or not
Don lives in Hong Kong.
but his wife's daughter and her husband and family live in England

even though I live just across the sea from England we say 'sus' all the time and I thought it was the 'norm' expression almost everywhere

now as regards what 'the norm' means :?

well it's like this ...........

(to be continued )

Laz... story needed no reply, especially since my editor said it had too many elements in it. Thanks for the nice compliment.

MrChevy... you're here as well?! Nice to see you... thanks for your comments. It was only yesterday I was admiring MrsChevy's dessert artistry. Why do I have a feeling you're a couple sizes larger than you were at 20?

Thanks, Paul.

Hi Bruce,

At least I guessed right... even though I live in Hong Kong. Been to England once in my life (does that mean I can die happy?).

Cheers,

Don

I think you know more about my family than I do... so it's settled: you can have them.

You're right, I was asleep... even with people talking behind my back.
