I like the photo, wouldn't mind seeing the color from the can on the graffitti as well but leave the rest desaturated as you have done.

Shows a good eye. I'm not so keen on the overexposure in the top right, I would like to have seen the image more dark and moody maybe. Hope this helps.

You've got a good eye and maybe a style, if you keep repeating it!I like the high contrast, the harshness and variety of the textures, the shapes and lines, and the composition. I really have no criticism!

Just a good example of the photographer being the one to produce good photos, not the camera..or lack of a real one. Good for you... congratulations.

I prefer your first photo, Varuj. Second one is too natural looking for me, and therefore, too grungy...dirty looking. Almost smelly!

Not really. I see 3 spaces of different materials and shapes...air, wall and ground...almost equal space, competing with each other, fighting. It's abstract. This kind of photo has it's place and sometimes, a mission to convey a message.

Eoseni

I'm not an expert, sorry, especially on NIKONS!?! Are you kidding? LOL. This is a Canon forum, buddy!

You may get a 20D for close to that price second hand maybe. Did you look on Ebay yet?

hahaha, thanks.its mostly the color correction that makes it pop out.as long as you get a descent image the rest you could play on your comp.at least thats how i see it

By the way, the Canon Xti or Rebel Xt are also very capable cameras, just not so strongly built. If you can, go and feel them out at a camera store. Then you may be able to decide better.

There are many ways discussed in these forums. Just do a search for it, you'll have lots to read!! But for me, word of mouth is the best...people recommend you because they like you and know your good work. All photographers love that. I don't do marketing yet... except for talking about what I do with people I meet.

varuj

ya its true its all about the quility of the work, thanks a lot for helpen me out tim,ill go search for that know

IMHO, the second image (with the cans looming large in the foreground) is the strongest of the three compositions because it has the most "immediacy" for the viewer. The last one doesn't hold my attention because it lets me be so detached from the scene.
