Ok, I have 400 pictures in PS that have been cropped and sized and have not sharpened yet. Is there a way I can do them all at one time like numbering etc. If so can someone walk me through it. Thanks Denny

Yes,...
An "action" that you create to handle the sharpening can then be "batched" for the entire 400 photos that you've got. And you can also spec as to how the "new" photos are numbered as well.
That sharpening action will then sharpen all 400 photos with the same sharpening specs that you created in the action. So, if all of the photos need to be sharpened a different amount, then this batch action won't do for you.
But "Yes", you can do that - I do it all the time with my sports photos for our local high school. In fact, my batch action resizes, crops, sharpens, and places my watermark on each photo .....
Open a photo that needs to be sharpened.
In your Actions palette, click on the arrow in the top right corner of the palette.
Click on "New Action"
In the dialog box, give your action a name. You'll notice that there is no "OK" or "Save" button there; instead there is a button that says "Record". When you click this button, every command that you make will be recorded as part of your new action. Look in your actions palette - you'll notice a red button in the lower row of that palette. That indicates that you are now "recording". Go through all the steps that you take to sharpen your photo, and also take the step to "Save as..."; when that's done, click on the square to the left of the red record button in the actions palette to stop your recording. Your action is now complete.
Click on "File>Automate>Batch". You'll get another dialog box.
Make sure that in the "Action" selection box that your new action is selected. The rest of the selection boxes will be up to you as far as what you want and how you want the resulting images to be saved and numbered. Make sure that the checkbox "Override Action "Save As" Commands" is checked.
Then just sit back and let it happen .....
* Note this: if you want to monitor the sharpening adjustment and sharpen each photo individually (instead of just letting the batch action run its course), then just click on the "Toggle dialog on/off" square opposite the "Unsharp Mask" command in the action's command list. Then, when the command "Unsharp Mask" is run during the action, it will not complete until you click on OK in the Unsharp Mask dialog box. *
Hope that helps ....
