Very interesting and very nice!
I like the composition, the exposure and the White Balance. As is typical of such shots, it is difficult to get the lighting the way you would like it, but this one is very good.
I especially like the way the branch is included and the fact that he seems to be "just arriving".

Great capture. If you don't think it's cheating, then I would suggest darkening the sky and making it a bit bluer. It'll do wonders for making the white plumage stand out a bit more.

Well, the one I knocked up to try it was a bit darker, but basically yes. (However, you still have white patches inside the letters of your name, lower left corner!)

Oh yes, I just did a quick edit to see the effect and never went back to original. In fact had I just cloned out the name and did the edit and then replaced it it would be fine.
Thanks that is a Good Idea it was a bleak day and sky was blown anyway. I had never done this before and used the magic wand and Paint.
