After finally getting around to organizing my library, I realized that I have a pretty large amount of shots of old gas pumps. All of these are in North Carolina, from '04-'07. C&C encouraged.

An enjoyable series. Most of your shots show pumps in good condition. Around here most of ours are in a condition similar to your last one. Ours are disappearing from their original location and reappearing at private residences as people collect and restore them. Keep shooting them!

Those pictures (most of them) bring back memories. Anybody remember when you could get a coke for a dime?
Thanks for the photographs....

I want to thank everyone for the feedback.
BLS - I must 'fess up. Two of the shots were from the same location. The PURE pumps and the Phillips 66 were from the same place, someone who re-did an old timey general store, including some sets of old gas pumps. Although a collection of antiques, it represented a step backward in time.
Since there is the interest, I'm going to include some non-gas pump related items that I feel share a similar story.
What got me into photography is this stuff. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to preserve the past for some odd reason. Photography was a perfect fit.
drifter106 - It may not be coke for a dime, but how about pepsi for a nickel? :)
