View Full Version : Monochrome from Colour & Split Toning

I came across a tutorial for converting to Monochrome from Colour - OK I hear you say nothing new in that.... the tutorial went further and showed how to add a sepia tint then went even further and dealt with "Split Toning"

The image below is one which I've produced as a split tone and feel that its not a bad effect - anyhow, I thought I'd share it. If anyone has any comments I'd be pleased to hear them.

Thanks David! I've been trying to play around with sepia toning and duotone and I'm not being very successful at either....altho duotone confuses me a little more only because I"m not sure what a successful photo looks like when duotone is applied....
I do have a question with sepia toning - once you get the sepia tones correct, how would you go about getting that faded/blurred effect old photo's sometimes have ?
