Hi,

I just wanted to find out what do you guys use to hold reflectors in different situations? So far I have used them by having someone hold them. I find that it is not always easy to find someone to hold them when there are limited number of people to begin with. :)

Any recommendations on any inexpensive stands?

Thanks.

Hi Baadil,

I didn't do the search but I know that B&H has lightweight stands designated as reflector or background stands and there are many options for reflector clips and brakcets, depending on the size, shape and use.

I have a DIY silver reflector that I use on a $20 Impact background stand. It works great, was very cheap and does what I need it to do. If I was using reflectors more or using lage reflectors I would consider looking into it and buying something but for now the home made reflector works quite well. I made it in silver but you can use white, silver or gold, or even black to use as a gobo or flag.

I use a light stand with a reflector arm I bought through eBay. (The one I bought isn't currently listed.) If you don't have a light stand to use with one, you might want to check some of Amvona's eBay listings for a complete stand and reflector holder.
