Its been a wet bank holiday here so I've been sorting some pictures I took the other day in Parkhurst forest on the Isle of Wight during my lunch break from work. They were taken with my 30D and 300mm F4L.

These are all very interesting captures of a small and elusive squirrel...

She looks a bit wet from the dew or a shower... Thanks for sharing.

It was an overcast day and the grass was very wet but she was having a field day head down and eating everything in sight, got frightened off by someone with a dog but came back again.

great shots love 4and 5 makes a change to see red squirrels only grey over here.i am from the island originally must try and get some shots next time i am over visiting family keith

never seen a red one before. there are all black ones in the bronx,ny.

This is a first for me. Love the color. On occasion, I get to see a black one in NY. Good job.
