Gas Pump grave yard

Went for a bike ride today and found a bunch of old gas pumps out behind an oil company building. Mostly close ups of parts.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm really new to the slr thing, got my 30D about a week ago and only owned p&s cameras before that. So far my keeper rate is probably around.....3-5%, so I had to shoot a ton of images to get these few that I was proud of.

I knew I'd like these shots from the title! :-) Excellent series but the first shot is simply stunning. I love the way the numbers are framed by rust. Great colours.

Very nice series! I like the way you capture detail to tell the story. I'd like to see more of the texture in those rusty photos, they are just begging to come out.

The place I took those is a five minute bike ride from my apartment, I'm definitely going to go back and shoot some more eventually. I might go back on a "bright cloudy" day (if you know what I mean) to get the colors to really pop.
