Wow Gary. That's great. Hard to do. Can you share how to get them in flight like that. Are there any special adjustments you think work best? You do great work!

Ruth, They were Building nest I believe on a Power/Light pole and I positioned myself to get incoming shots wind to my back and sun over my shoulder and waited.

fantastic shot Gary!!! i think that on a shot like this, it might be worth the time to try and fix that cut wing on the Osprey on the right....

Not for me Snir, I have not that ability, I would be better off going back and take another shot with a 300mm instead of the 500mm. I didn't expect to get this kind of a shot. Mostly just single birds

I was wondering what your post Eagle project would be Gary, Great shot, clipped wing or not I'd be happy with getting the two in one frame. Gotta love the sun over the shoulder lighting. Well done Gary.:D

Thanks Trevor

Well I kind of setup that way and the wind also on my back. Far more approach shots that way. I'm not sure Osprey will be the next project but they are neat birds to shoot many expressions

I would have loved to have my 300mm on instead of the 500mm and got fully both.

I'm sure they were communicating somehow as they almost ran into each other.

Thank TD
