I have been using a 10d at work and I find it focuses great in low light situations. Is the digital rebel 300d as good at focusing in low light?

According to Popular Photography, The Digital Rebel's autofocus is slightly better than the 10D in very low lighting (EV 2). At EV 1, it's nearly the same as the Nikon D1x.

I remember that in the test, though they utilize just about the same system. I would note that low-light autofocus is also dependent on lens aperture. An f/1.4 lens lets in 1 EV more light than an f/2.0 and should affect auto-focus accordingly.

Yes.. it will be as good as the 10D.. if not slightly better.. I don't think the advantage the 300D has is very perceptable.. but it is there.
