These shots were all taken with a P&S camera (Canon A80) that I no longer use (these are old images that I've been reprocessing lately). If I were to return to the same place or for any other landscape shots, I'd be using my current 10-22 lens exclusively. That's what I'd highly recommend for landscapes, that is, if you're using a 1.6 crop body...
