I've had a local bank contact me about doing portraits of it's employees at a themed corporate event they are planning. They are doing a Hawaii theme. They want me to shoot portraits using my background and lights and their props. They want 5x7 prints printed on site and given to the employees by the end of the evening. This will be about 50 portraits. My Canon ip6700D printer will print straight from my CF card so I shouldn't need a computer to process the images. I should be able to shoot ....(crop right in the printer) and print. Put photos into presentation folders and present final product.

I'm thinking of charging them about $12.50 per image or $625.00 for the event. My costs are paper, ink, folders.

Sound about right? No??

If it is just you, you might be a bit busy. Take an "assistant" to run your printer, and bump the fee by $50.00. Some people get impatient with a few drinks in them. The more attractive the assistant, they seem to have more patience.

Definately have a plan "B". Expect the best, plan for the worst.

Charge the $625 AND the $12.50/print.
