This past weekend, after a few weeks of no use, I brought my camera (Powershot SD200) out and was surprised to find that the LCD screen was broken (white background, purple line running in the middle). The last time I used it, there was no problem and I have kept it safely ever since. I don't want to send my camera to Canon for repair (time/cost) and after some research I've gathered that this is a very COMMON problem with these cameras.
I don't know what to do. How hard is it to fix it yourself? How much would it cost? Anyone from NJ know how to fix the LCD screen?
I love this camera a lot and really need it for the upcoming weeks. My last option as of now is to buy a new one, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks
