Portrait of a man who got a puck in the eye during a gentleman's hockey game - freak occurence. Now he advocates the use of face shields.

I wear a half shield. This is the very reason I debate going to a full shield.

I am to assume that he lost his eye in this incident? I really like the use of the injury photo inside this one; it's very telling.

Actually he hasn't lost the eye and has some hope he'll recover - more surgeries to come and that will tell the tale.
