First posting here folks, I seized the opportunity to try my 70-200 2.8L IS on my high school alma mater rugby team. This team (the black uni's) are 17 time National Champs. This was their championship game against Jesuit (Sacramento). I only use the software that came with the 30D, I plan to get PS soon. C&C welcome. I have many more shots, just picked my favorite. I shot in raw + jpg, on the digital photo professional software I need to learn to crop and adjust brightness and much more. Maybe some of you pros can edit and lighten this up, then let me know what you think.

Not a ps pro by any means but I thought I'd give it a try for you....lightened the first one up with levels, curves and saturation, looks a litte grainy now though. Have also done a crop but it's a shame you missed the arm of the player on the left as he's part of the story. Anyway heres my attempt!

Cropping is one thing, but editing out a leg and arm of another player and then cloning (badly) the arm of an onlooker is not on. Deal with the pic you have...if there's a leg there, tough luck, and if there's an arm there, tough luck. For the crop, I'd keep the left player in to balance it having the right player in too...then get rid of the excess grass at the bottom of the image, and try that...
