took this photo on last sunday in Edinburgh.

I was taking around 500 shoots but this is my best one.

I was nearly cry when I see this man!

Wow Alextian. What an amazing capture. The emotion is just shining through. This is a very inspirational photo!

Wow. These photos are unbelievable. Both the bokeh and the edge sharpness are spectacular. You captured some great emotion there.

What lens did you use for most of these?

Also, please tell me you had a rain coat for your camera ... or at least an umbrella :D

Those guys are true sports. Keep going and going no matter what, prove you have what it takes no matter what happens to you.

Great emotion captured, very sharp and good colors.

A friend of mine and a regular member of this forum was workinf at this event, he was working for the sports agency who has the rights to take photos and sell the images. I'm glad i didnt go, judging by all the rain.

I love this photo. I don't know if you agree, but I saved it on my computer, I want to keep it forever because I love it soooo much.

it's a beautiful shot, the subject of course, but the emotion on his face and body... excellent capture man, congratulations.

My friend,
your first pic is exceptional.

It dečicts all there is to say on human ppain and perseverance, courage and pride.

I personally feel all technical comments are quite irrelevant compared to the message of this pic. For me it could have been shot with a pinhole camera and still deserve a warm applause !

Ah what memories, I ran this marathon in 2005 - it was raining then too. Nice pics.
