I made this for a friend of mine. Just wanted to know what you all think.

looks alright to me....although how would you print that 8x8??
to me it wouldnt work as an 8x10 because of the crop but as a square it'd be perfect...i love how you have the girl on the same 'dirt patch'
cool stuff.

The text seems really bug to me....I guess I would need to see it printed. Overall a cool composite.

the last "N" in her name is different then the rest is that on purpose?????
the other thing is maybe try and match the color/exposure/gamma of the two images but its a good start. :)
The other thing is push the design aspects of the name it feels very plain the way its laid out even though you added an outer glow to it....go ahead and try some other things. Looks at advertisements for inspiration.

Good idea, but the composition bugs me a little bit. I'd prefer to see them both facing the middle, instead of both facing the perimeter. Don't know if that would work with these poses however. Maybe move the catcher left and up, and the fielder down and right. That may get you closer to the 8x10 as well.
I like the different tonal values of the two poses, and think the catcher is the better one to emphasize.
My $0.02, about what you paid for it.

Thanks for the replies. :) I didn't really think about the size of it until you all said something about it.

HAHAHA I thought she only had 1 N in her name I added it later. Thats as close as I could get it to the original. I worked on it for about 30 min and gave up.

Couldnt you have simply copy 'n' paste the last N ? :)

I guess but you know when you get frustrated on something your working on you overlook the simplest ways to fix it. It was late and I just was thinking straight I guess.

This happened to me once too... that is why now I ALWAYS save my photoshop creations as PSD files with ALL layers intact, and I also have learned to have a separate layer for each set of text (in your poster, I would have had four layers of text). This makes it MUCH easier to go back and fix a spelling error without messing with the whole project...

I use Photoshop Elements 3.0 (Old, but not exactly Dinosaur!) I want to upgrade, but right now I am upgrading equipment. Photoshop CS will come later.
Yeah, cloning worked, but only because she happened to have another "N", what if it was an "U" that was missed? Cloning wouldn't fix it! Kudos though on a quick fix for this specific situation. My comment was more directed at fixing the workflow next time, not so much fixing this error.
