Hi there 05R6.
The images are great, but I'm not really a great fan of selective colouring. With the first, There are too many objects (cheeks / hair) singled out and the eye is left wondering on which to look at. Most images that I have seen in SC, have only had one object selected, which draws the attention.

the 1st probably doesnt really need this effect. the 2nd is quite cool though, it looks a bit like predator vision!

I see that allot of peeps here do not like S.C. very much..Why is that?

Ok Im not saying this to be ajerk, but you are askign what I think because Im assuming you want to get better.
Personally, selective coloring is overdone and overrated. and this selective coloring is no different.
However, if you must use Selective coloring, I sugest you first duplicate the layer then mask it.. the use your brush with the black and white colors to reveal only the colors you want, that way if you mess up and draw out of your subject (like the red on the hat in the first one) you can easily fix it.
