The lighting on the building is AWESOME! It would have been really cool if you did another exposure for the moon, and replaced the properly exposed moon over this shot!

Lovely shot. Great mix of warm and cool colour. I love the "horror movie" feel to it.

when i was doing moon shots last night (not long after moonrise, so when it's high you might need to drop the exposure a bit, i was shooting at 1/250 @ F10, 400 ISO at 300mm (hence the stopped down aperture).

I reckon that looks great as is, though, it almost has a hdr feel to it.

Very dramatic shot, well done. I love these UWA shots. Well composed too.

The old flour mill. I never thought to get a shot from that angle.
Very nicely done.
A real shame we live in a colonial town but all the heritage building facades are ruined with modern street lighting and traffic lights.
The Port would be a photographers wetdream otherwise.

Thanks guys for all the comments! much appreciated!...desertraptor, i know exactly how you feel!!...many times when I take photos of a historic area i find there to be some really annoying powerline or fence or street light in the background spoiling my image or asking for PP editing!!......

I have taken shots of old pubs in teh Port and done the big edit to remove street signage, power lines and light poles. Modernising a historic area is just crap. I'd love the Port council to atleast put up antique looking street lighting.
