skaters, in a skate park (first try)

i have never been on a skate board before, but i thought i would try to take some pics of the guys who enjoy it... i had a time trying to get them to warm up to me... i have gone back a couple of times now..

whoa inlines!? i've been checking out local skateparks doing the same type of shooting and i see no one on inlines anymore, it's sad cause i'm in inliner.

the first shot is pretty good, nice and sharp but there isn't much of a feel for how high he is. the second picture is OOF but there is a decent sense of height due to the angle. Were you set to One shot or one of the servo modes?

ai servo mode...yeah i knew one of those shots was oof but icouldnt remember which one when i picked it for here, and i cant hardly see the little thumbnails it gives me... so i guess i picked the wrong one.. there are more in the fotopic area...
the inline skater is my brothers ex-brother inlaw.. nice kid but he was the only inline skater, he did some ballzy moves though.. i thought it was cool.

right on, i remember when it was 50/50 with inlines and skateboards, not so much anymore unfortunately.

i kind of live in bfe though, i wish that we had a better park and well better skaters as well,,, these kids get hit a trick and think they are skate gods....
i dont know but i get the impression that boards are harder, but inlines are more fun... at least thats how it looked

I like the first shot, but the key is to show their take off and landing. awesome shot none the less...

skateboarding is all about creativity shoot horizontal create a photo. Aswell being able to see the run up and the landing is a must. Good for your first time though.
