i wasn't sure if you were looking for any c&c :-P you didn't say. anyways, the photos are nice. would be good if you used some fill flash to help lighten her up. I do see a lot of harsh lighting in the bg but it would just help contrast from the subject which would help make is stand out a bit. but yeah, if you bring (or find) shade for ur subject definitely use some fill light.
oh and being a good writer works as well :-) I'm still working on my writing.

Great fun shots, but besides fill flash, how about a wide enough angle so we can see the bars. Otherwise as far as I'm concerned, that's just how they look normally :) ;)
