I need to print slides in 8x12" size preferably.
I tried it locally, but the quality was not sufficient, and one place scratched/"fingerprinted" my slide.

I tried scanning with Cannon Lide80 (resolution 4800x2400) but this resolution wasn't good enough.

I need to find a mail-order place (that ships to Canada) that can do high quality prints from slides, and also digitize my slides with high resolution.

Recommendations?
Thanks, Stan

Go to a prepress studio that has a drum scanner and digitize the slides. The drum scanner is not the cheapest way to scan slides, but it's the highest quality way. I've been using a Heidelberg Tango drum scanner (in an agency) with optical resolution 11 000 dpi and dynamic range of 4.9D. It was so sharp, that I was able to clearly see the grain of the film in the highest resolution scans.
If you have your slides on a CD, then you can output them on any digital photo lab.

Thanks, I know at least one place that has a drum scanner. Haven't tried it yet, because it's very expensive (~CAN$ 50 per slide), but I might have to.
