Folks, I just noticed that I clocked up my 2,000th post on POTN last night. Obviously it's a very interesting, educational and fun place, so I thought I ought to do something to support it. I've donated £20.00, which means that at the current exchange rate, each post has literally been my $0.02 worth. I'll try to remember to repeat it when I clock up 3,000, 4,000, etc.
Anyway it just occurred to me that if lots of members did that, Pekka probably wouldn't have to worry too much about running costs. Obviously it doesn't have to be every 1,000 posts, and it doesn't have to be $0.02 per post (you might consider your posts to be more or less valuable than mine!), but I suggest it would be a good habit to try to get into.
