So here are my first shots with the 30D. I did not try to point the camera at anything moving yet so I to be honest right now I cannot tell the difference in quality between 30D and IIn.

These are all very nice shots Tom, but of course, I am partial to the Wrens. My favorite. :)

beautiful series of shots. Don't be in a hurry to find moving targets when you're this good at the still ones!

very nice tom both a top class but the wren is a beauty. as for the differance i would be interested in the af speed on moving targets. can you be a guinea pig a try some

btw, the 4th shot has a halo around it.

#2 and #5 are teriffic. I'd say that the 30D is working exactly as designed. --Rick

Absolutely Stunning shots! Fantastic IQ there. Heck, who cares if its moving? Again, as others have said, beautiful series. Congrats on the new camera.

Very nice shots Tom, all very well taken. Not too fond of the composition of the yellow warbler with the branch in front. The rest are great.

Wow Excellent shots, very sharp with beautiful colours, b/g's and poses. I tried very hard to pick a favourite but I can't, they are all simply great.:)
