Technically not the right name for it, but that is what it is commonly called, so you can have it!:D
Hallgrímskirkja, it is a Lutheran Church in Iceland. Until recently it was the tallest building in Iceland. Magnificent place.
I wish you hadn't asked the Scandinavia question Roy. Was going to say no, as Iceland is not actually a Scandinavian country, but I figured that would throw everyone off and make it impossible to figure out.

No, I included the whole of the island of Ireland in my earlier one ;)
The reason I said 'interesting' was that in Dublin I have very vague memories of seeing something kind of simliar  and without wishing to throw a red herring in becuse I would need to research the history there may be a "fruity connection" ~ take it as said that even if I am right this clue is IMO quite obscure.
PS I am worried that this one is on the extreme end of difficult because since I posted it even I knowing where it is cannot find a corroborating image Agh!!!!!
I seem to point my camera at 'things' that others apparently do not see
In the light of this please say if/when it should be disclosed. I do have at least one more clue but it would be good if someone can get the country and even the city/town/village before that is needed? I did say location and place needed IDing ~ didn't I?

I agree on the look but in respect of the name of the street that look is not significant.
However, the look I believe places it in 'history' so to speak. AFAIK a specific period where that 'look' was also used in interior decorative work & though not 100% sure in keeping with the windows time period.

I was looking at the photo thinking that the street number sign resembled Czech signage. My wife happened to walk by the PC and said: "Nice try...but I don't believe for a minute that you'll be spending your time in Prague visiting a dead composer's museum ;)"
