I can't offer much criticism, but I like 1 and 2. I can never get over seeing guys in business suits playing pachinko.

Ahh, all the neon and concrete. And that cool ball game!

You've done a good job here capturing the busy life of Tokyo. I find #1 a tad overexposed for my liking, but I'm not sure on how dark it was out there. #1 still my fav though.

nice pics...i like the arcade the best..what are those things anyways? and ....

how do u accomplish taking pics like these...cus ive been working some at home..and i always need a tripod to accomplish it...iw ill be traveling soon and its just a pain setting up tripod everytime i take a pic indoor or at night, so im wondering if there are techniques and stuff to accomplish these shots

There is always something about to lean on, and if not I would just rest against a lamp post. I'm very new to photography, and I am still trying to believe that its not just having a nice camera that means you get quality results...:confused:

The first picture, I just rested the camera on a walkover bridge, while the 3rd, was clearly handheld. I was just playing about as I was there on my own so I didnt have anyone getting bored of me fiddling with my camera.

The last shot was done just leaning back against a lamp post. I took one, then noticed the train track above the bridge so waited for that one when the train was passing over. Its not really that noticable, but it was just some extra movement.

Shinjuku at night is a great place to capture speed and colour, there is just so much going on I imagine it would be hard to take a bad picture.

In the first shot, try to go to Image -> Adjustment -> Shadow/Highlight. Turn the shadow down, and turn the highlight up, you will regain some color and less light back. :)

Love the rich colors and the images are so alive.
They were way over the 800 pixel limit so I had to convert them to links.

The first photo looks like its a little washed out in the back and the third photo looks a little blurred and the fourth photo looks very soft and blurred on the edges (especially the left side). Otherwise, great job!
