Hi everyone! Here's a shot of the Grand Central Station in NYC. I used my 5D with the 17-40 on this one. I went for a blurred motion effect. Please C&C thanks. :)

If you look carefully, you weren't the only person taking a photo...lower right corner, just to the left of the girl in the teal cap.

It's commonplace for tourists to come and take photographs here. Where I was standing taking this shot, there were like 10 other people behind me using a p&s and I just waited for the right moment to move in and take the shot.

Looks like you had to use a slow shutter speed. How did you steady the camera? (I'm guess the P&S people had their flashes going ;) )

Excellent capture, I love th blurring of some of the people, indicating a rushed pace of life. I suspect this would look great in B/W too.

Great image...Wish i would of had the chance to visit GCS but theres so much to do in NYC its unreal...hehe :).

Thanks for all your kind comments. I used the 5D, 17-40 @17mm, ISO 400,F11,1/4 sec.
