This is my first attempt to try and shoot band practice. I went with my friend (drummer) to this practice last week. It was in a rather dark garage with almost no space to move around.
Gear used was EOS 350D, 50mm 1.8 and 420EX
C&C welcome!

Not bad for a first try (or any try for that matter).
I like the energy in the first. Looks a bit soft though.
#2: Head in the way.
#3: More face would have been nice. If she's looking toward her hand, I'ld like to see that hand.
#4: Nice smile, but like #3, cropped a bit close.
#5: Nice. Could be cropped a bit tighter even.
#6: Needs a bit less headroom, and a bit more at the bottom and sides.
Putting numbers with the images helps giving C&C ;)

Thanks! It was hard trying to frame them properly. I was literally squeezing in between speaker units, tripping over wires and leaning against walls to get those shots. The 18-55mm kit lens is not fast enough so I was stuck using the 50mm only.
The "softness" was my intent from the get go though. All their other pictures (shot by someone else) were too "rough".
Thanks again!

I meant 'soft' as in "out of focus" in #1 (focus on the shoulder, not the face I'd say) ;)

I like these pics but I'm confused by the EXIF: 3.2", f25?

The exif data isnt accurate since that is based on the template for my watermarks. Those were all shot at 1/125 at f 1.8, ISO 200
