There are lots of websites with Photoshop tips and tricks. There are also a lot of books. I especially like The Adobe Photoshop CS Book for Digital Photographers (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735714118/qid=1085083875/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/102-3405470-7186538?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) by Scott Kelby - it describes a lot of useful techniques for working with your digital photos (much more useful than a reference manual which only explains what all the menus and buttons do).
