Photos taken from last nights televised game on Sky Sports, Dewsbury v Whitehaven, all shot wide open @ f/2.8 ISO between 540-1200 Shutter Speed between 1/640- 1/1200 sec. Only post work is slight levels adjust, crop and sharpen (probably a little too much sharpening)

I like #3 a lot. Can't tell if it is raining or that is just water and debris from all the commotion. The placement of the hand is great!

All of them capture emotion in people's faces. I think it adds a lot to the images. #2 and #8 look a little noisy. May just be the higher ISO (I didn't Exif them). #6 is nice, too. A lot going on in that one, and the dust getting kicked up adds to it.

I think they are all great images...well done.

I don't think any of these are over sharpened a bit with the possible exceptions of #s 4 and 8. As a matter of fact I think the entire set is excellent!

So #2 is why the guys NEVER told me why they taped my ears back when they talked me into playing wing for that ONE season.....LOL...

I was a dental student and figured out one season is too long....LMAO...

thanks for the comments guys, sorry im a little late replying but i moved house about 12 hours after these were taken so ive not net access at my new house for about 1 month

Just a few observations to replies, yes its rain in pic 3, the No11 in pic 2, his finger remained at that angle after he attempted the tackle, dislocated it.

Pics 2 and 8 were late in the game when the floodlights were on so were at a high ISO hence the noise.
