Dear friends
all though I took this pictures some time back, these are really my first ever pictures of this kind of night shoots. I am still wondering what I should try to achieve in this kind of pictures. some thing like all moving cars but just one standing so that it gives more relative velocity effect or what ever... Please let me know what you think

u gotta get a tripod, get a longer exposure and get the ambient light to come out and the cars will be a really kewl line of lights.

It's a good first attempt but the shots are too distracting with elements along the sides of the roads. You need to clearly illustrate the movement of the cars and nothing else (if this is your intended subject).

The pictures also don't look very sharp.

I have used tripod for all the pictures, Dont know why it is not sharp.

I shoot some photos in the night whit tripoid like you and actually I dont know why arent all the images sharp. I posted in Urban Life forum the name is Austin's Street but nobody reply my post.

usually i see this types of shots that look like this:

(friends shot so cant post up here), think u need long exposures at small apertures? ill have to get out at nite one day and try.
