I was playing around with Photoshop the other day and decided to see what I could do to an otherwise plain-jane shot I took. Below are the before and after pics, as well as a B/W version.
C&C's much appreciated!

Wow I love both of your edited versions! Isn't it so rewarding to take a "plain jane" shot and make it look spiffy like you did?

REALLY nice job, love the selective colouring one. Really like your barcode sig as well, very inventive :)
If you don't mind me asking, what processing did you do on this??

The photo was originally shot in a very muggy morning. PP'ing was done in Photoshop CS2, mostly curves for the background. I then worked on just the car, using a combination of curves, exposure, saturation to get the desired effect.
The downside is that sometimes and to some people, the photo either looks dark, or over contrast, or other things. Im still fine tuning it to get a CGI look without ruining the shot.
Below is another one I did a while back too. Feel free to C&C this too :D

For the first set, all you need is the MSRP and leasing options and I'd think it were an ad.
The second set is also cool. The trees almost have a painted look in the b&w version to me. Gives it a little expressionist feel to it.
Great job.

#2 on your first post is excellent. It looks like a totally different car.
