Just wanted to say that without the help provided in here, especially the DPI and printing threads I would have no idea how to prepare my images for printing.
I picked up my first "proper" lab printed work from the 400D and I am delighted with the results at 12x18 size. It was a challenge given the max at 300dpi in PS was around 8x10 but 172dpi 12x18's looked just awesome with no interpolation just as per advice in here.
