Excellent shot, the focus is SPOT ON. Nice colors too (though my monitor is fubar right now, they seem nice :P).

Hiya RM,

Great shot, good to see your back is back to withstanding big boys toys again ?

Lovely colours against the dark bg.

Looks like your lucky weather wise it's not been brill here & Sunday looks like being a total washout from first light & I'd planned to go off woodland bug hunting, Oh the best laid plans of Mice & Men.

Cheers for now
Mark

thanks for comments, loads of Grasshopper and Cricket nymphs in the long grass this afternoon. Stayed in one spot partly to protect my leg but also the longer you stay in a spot the more tuned in you get to the macro world. Loads of shots to process, hope to have a few more at least as good as this one. 1.40am I guess I cant put off going to bed any longer ;trouble is thats the worst for my leg so may as well post another shot instead:

Wonderful shots, RM. I especially love the in your face munching of the first shot. Makes me realize why I will smush those suckers before i get out my camera. They have an unerring sense and are able to pick the most expensive and slowest growing plants in my greenhouse when they invite themselves to dinner. Hope your back pain subsides.
