Please Critique - Rocky Mountain National Park

I took this image this morning at Sprague Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I like it. I think one thing that makes it better for me is the inclusion of the rocks in the water. Some may think it's distracting from the mirror effect, but I think something small like that can add a lot. My only wish for it to be better is a little more detail in the trees on the right. I would like to see more individual trees rather than a mass of green. Does that make sense anywhere else other than in my head? :? I think maybe they are a little washed out and therefore blend together too much. Other than that I think it's great! :)

I like it!! Rocky Mountain Natonal Park is beautaful! I am going back for the 12th time this summer.

beautiful! The only thing that bugs me a bit is that all the elements seem to draw my eyes immediately to dead center which is the least interesting part of the photo (the tree line). Perhaps if it was cropped differently or shifted one way or another so as not to draw the eye away from the water and peaks.

Gorgeous photo, I really like the rocks in the foreground too, and the mountain in the background is amazing.
As mentioned above, the only thing that can improve it is if you try to get some detail out of the shadow areas using photoshop or similar. But its still a gorgeous shot.

An absolutely gorgeous shot. About 10 seconds worth of levels work will bring out the detail in the trees. Bring up levels and move the right hand slider to the left just until it touches the right end of the histogram data, then move the left hand slider to the right just until it touches the the left hand side of the histogram data, then move the middle slider to the left just until it brings out the detail you want in the trees.

Good job of seeing and capturing the shot.

Thanks for all your comments! I am going to try again this morning and see if I can't get better light on the subject. If I improve it, I'll post a copy here.
