The pictures that were converted with dcraw had a significant red tint, that was clearly visible on the skin tones and the white shirt. That's not an acceptable conversion IMHO.

FRankly, I don't think this guy has much of a clue how to use FVU properly, but anyway here's a C1SE processed crop:

I made an EC compensation, set white balance from a t-shirt from another figure in the full-size image and sharpened to soft 300/3.

concerning the reddish tint, did you try messing with the white balance settings? remember, it's converting it from the raw ccd data. using any raw conversion program with the wrong whitebalance will cause the resulting picture to come out wrong, right? but, I'm sure you aren't using default settings ;)

I'm sure the owner would post your results using FVU. and, speaking of color, your image seems much more neutral.
