I will have my Mark II tomorrow Friday the 21st. I ordered the Mark II exatly three months ago from Calumet. I will head to the everglades this weekend to take some shots. Pherhaps I will be the first to post some good Mark II aligator images! :D

Congrats! The MKII's are flowing in now! You'll be shooting alligators and I'll be shooting sprint boats. Cool!

Oh man. Now that's a challenge...

khkohl: Let's see if we can make this happen. Get a good profile shot of a gator and I think we can make this work. I'd love to give Bob something worth hangin on his fave wall of photos.

I wonder if there are any gators in Richland...

This is one time I really had to make sure she understood exactly how much money I was spending. We're coming into our hot season and sleeping on the patio is not an attractive option.

If you haven't told your wife yet, you might find the gators safer to snuggle up to at night for awhile.

I took the sensible road and told my wife about it... She immediately hit the roof..but then after a month told me to go ahead and purchase it. I reodered, but now I'm later in the waiting pool. I'm still kicking myself :x .

Well, I guess that's what you do to keep a marriage from folding!

I am not going to lie about it. If she were to notice the difference between the Mark II and the 10D I will tell her about the great opportunity I had to trade up!! This will probably happen sometime next year. :wink:
