I would love to see a dance, parade that celebrates culture like that! I love the costumes!

I love cultural events like this.
I like the last two pics. Shame about the marquee.
That third shot with a clear background would be magic i think!
I had the pleasure of shooting and indian wedding once, which is the closest I have come to any sort of cultural event.
Coming from english blood, and living in Aus, I am kinda out of the cultural loop.

Gotta love the costumes. This is very difficult to expose well, with all the backlighting.
I'd crop off the left third of #2 (the white background part), then brighten it up some.

Thanks for the input everyone, the akward front lighting with the shade of the over hang did make it a little bit harder to find the right exposure.

I love Tarantella !!!....
Very good series. Tough to capture though, when subject is always moving, it's like your brain is composing from scratch every half a second.
