Near the end of one of the runways at YVR Vancouver.

I think I like the last two the best. "Direct Positive" preset on second to last pic. I was playing around to try to get the sky to be more colorful and keep the outline of the mountains in the background.

Pretty shots in nice light, but you need to avoid dead stick landings like in the last one? ;) 1/800 sec is way too fast.

Yeah, except for prop freeze on the Dash-8, nice photos. I especially like #2 and #3.

I agree, I could have set it up better. First time shooting through a fence which was kind of weird. At least now I've done runways once! :)

A trick I learned is to use a ladder or step-stool. That way you can shoot over the fence and be more level with the planes.
