Apart from the obvious - camera, lenses, CF cards, batteries, etc. what are the items you take with you that you just can't do without on a shoot?

I have a checklist and was just going through it before a 2-day shoot at the British Touring Car Championships on Saturday/Sunday and I have some 'must have' odd items on my list. What's on yours?

1. DC/AC inverter and 10D/1D/FlashTrax battery chargers.

2. Supply of business cards.

3. Notebook and pen.

4. Public liability insurance certificate.

5. My media passes

6. Lunch

I always pack a couple of plastic trash bags..the big ones (45 gal). Other than their designed purpose, they also make a great weather cover for equipment as well as a makeshift raincoat for the unexpected thundershower when you are away from a shelter. Nice thing is that they take virtually no room in the bag.

Kenny,

No. 5 = Not fair :(

Have a good weekend. :D

On the upside, looks as though I may have wangled myself a gig photog'ing for one of the teams at the Snet round of the British GT. We will see how that pans out.... :)

Cheers

My GPS, I would get lost in my own home without it.

I mainly shoot in the wilderness....

So, its good to have one for finding your way back home, although my wife likes to take the batteries out of it so I dont find my way back..LOL
