I am trying to install Photoshop Elements that came with my 10D. It is asking for the Serial No. I can't find it anywhere.

Where is it?

No. The cd came in a plain white sleeve with no writing on it all.

Then call the store that you got your camera from. All the Elements software comes in a sealed sleeve from Adobe with serial numbers.

Mine is on the back of the CD sleeve, which is clear on the front and white on the back. It has two removable stickers with the serial number on each and recommends you put them in a safe place.

Have you checked the CD sleeve that your Canon utilities CD is in to see if you got them switched?

Both the CD's came in a sealed plain white sleeve with a transparent window on the front. I have found the section in the manual which says that the serial no is on the CdRom label.

I have turned out my office rubbish bin which had not been emptied. I cannot find anything.

How big is this label? What colour is it?

The label on my copy is yellow, FWIW.

Mine is yellow and extends clear across the bottom of the backside of the sleeve. There are two removable stickers, side by side. The instructions are above these removable stickers and would remain, even if the stickers had been removed.

Same with the ones that came with my 300D. - white sleeve & yellow labels ON THE BACK! You did look on the back?

No. I definitely haven't got it. I'll speak to my supplier, but when it took them 3 months to get the camera in the first place, I'm not sure that they'll be able to do anything quickly.

I'm looking at my elements CD and the serial number is printed on the CD.

Yes my ser # for PSE 2.0 is on a sticker on the CD. 6 sets of 4 numbers like iwatkins showed in his msg.

I'll confirm Ian and Jerry, six sets of four numbers, but mine is on a sticker on the front of the sleeve. PSE2 is bundled with different products, I have it twice. It would appear there is no uniformity in placing the serial number, but the serial number format is uniform.

Nuisance.
