Having just finished a game of mini golf with the family we spotted these guys. I got the 1dmkii and I hand held the 120-300. somehting I am certainly not used to doing but didn't come out too bad.. I only had a moment so stuck on AV and shot. What do you think ?

I rushed to the car and grabbed the camera and lens :) I wasn't playing mini golf with a 120-300 round my neck .... was crazy golf actually.. why did I say mini... oh hum :)

Strange this has been moved to transportation from Sport. A scratch head moment..

Carl I enjoyed the little time I had photographing these guys.. I am going to look for events. Scarborough might be a bit far though. Are you covering it?

No, I was at the one in Barrow Docks a couple of weeks ago. Just to test the 300 out on water as I've missed most of the boat races there.

I should of been at Scarborough this weekend for the Thundercats but wasn't needed on the team so didn't go!

As you say, it's a bit far. Need something bit closer, getting lazy!!!! That and wanting to do more mountain bike riding on Sundays rather than photoing.
