This was a performance from a dance rectial I shot on Friday night. It was titled "Break on through to the other side". The same title from the "The Doors" was the theme music. It was an awesome set!

Anyway these shots were take with a Canon 50mm 1.8 II lens.

Just wondered what some of the professionals here thought....

Some more... Shutter speed was to slow on the last one :(.... ISO was set at 800 for this set....should have went to 1600 I guess!

With the low ISO limit of the 300D, and only the 50mm in your kit that I would have said suitable for theatre, it would have been a tough one!

A tip though... always run at your TOP ISO setting, unless you find ABSOLUTELY no need to (like 1/1000 f4 speeds or something - then you might drop it).

The last two are a little soft for me, but the first two are good.

Looks like a hard thing to capture, as there is little in the way of points of interest or anything.

Well done.

Rob

Thanks for the input...I was quite difficult to shot with all the changing light. I had a great time though. I shot over 400 images that night. I plan to share more as time allows me to process them.
