Untouched, went back out, shot again with new settings. Should I crop it down a little ?

you can see the trees on here as well.. but I still sat a crop of some of the space up top will do it good..

I think the problem starts from the beginning. It's not something interesting to take a picture of. The first thing I ask myself when I see the photo is, "What is it about?".

Well, the first thing that grab me was the ONLY sign on the ground and the two arrows pointing different direction.... It's really nice and it's also scary!

I guest I imagined myself being in that road on feet... "Which way do I go, Which way do I go".....

Taking Jackie's thoughts a bit further, I can see a 30 second exposure with a car coming in the right hand lane but turning left, which is an illegal turn in this instance. The light trails would show the infraction, but the car wouldn't be in the image, just its head and taillights streaking through it. Yes, someone broke the law, but you'll never know who!
